Why We Started with Pottery
When we decided to move into ceramic production, the goal was to produce black clay pieces, which are very characteristic of the region where we are located. Focused on the tourist market - standardized pieces to be sold as 'souvenirs'. Inspired not only by the ancient practices of wheel work but especially through the use of molds, we wanted to add an evolutionary leap to this long history, while maintaining the primitive firing system in a reducing atmosphere, which is called Soenga.

Soenga
The Soenga firing technique emerged when the first communities settled and needed to make their first ceramic utensils. Nothing simpler than opening a small hole in the ground, burning the pieces with wood, and, in the end, smothering them.
